● n. m. ►PERIPH modem "bidon" dont la majeure partie des fonctions est assurée par du logiciel et non pas du matériel. Du coup, ils coûtent nettement moins cher, mais dévorent de la CPU. Syn. soft modem. Voir aussi Linmodem.
